Surf Sistas

Surf Sistas commissioned an illustration for their trip merchandise. The company run female surf coaching trips and guiding across the world. They wanted me avoid the girly surfy cliches, and create something of my style which felt contemporary and playful. To convey the idea of sisterhood I designed the illustration to have two female longboarders, set against tropical elements to balance out the piece. I complimented the elegant style with a grungy lettering treatment of ‘Surf Sistas’
